Kerala Bank-First in Asia
Kerala Bank has bagged the first position in Asia as per the World Cooperative Monitor report brought out by International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) with the scientific and technical support of the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprise (Euricse). The Bank climbed up to the top position in Asia in the financial services sector from among the list of top 300 cooperatives and mutuals based on Turnover/GDP per capita.
The Kerala Bank formed on 29.11.2019 by amalgamating 13 District Cooperative Banks with the State Cooperative Bank is a dream project of Hon: Kerala Chief Minister, Sri. PinarayiVijayan. The State was able to create a niche in the World Cooperative Sector by this achievement of the Kerala Bank.
Bank president, Sri.GopiKottamurickal said that the achievement of the Kerala Bank as it falls on the third anniversary is a honour for the hard work and systematic work put forward by the Bank's Board of Directors, Board of Management, higher officials and all employees.
